You can delete an individual record from a Gearset Archive, for example to action a GDPR or CCPA “right to be forgotten” request. This covers deleting one record at a time from the Archived records tab, using an archived Account record as the example.
How do I delete a record from an archive?
On the Archiving dashboard, open the archive the record is in.
Click
Archived records.Choose the object from the dropdown, for example
Account, and search for the record.Select the record in the results list. Its fields and data appear on the right.
Click the
⋮icon next toRestore record.Click
Delete.
Can I delete more than one record at a time?
Not currently. Archiving removes one record per action, so deleting a batch of records means repeating these steps for each one.
