Gearset's Archive Viewer allows you to quickly browse archived records and to preview associated attachments without needing to download files individually.
We support the preview of various image, video, pdf and audio file types in these formats: BMP, GIF, ICO, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, WEBP, PDF, AVI, MOV, MP3, MP4, MPEG, WAV, WMA, WMV, EML extensions.
Note: For other types not explicitly supported you can still download to view them.
To open the preview, follow these steps:
In your Salesforce org, navigate to the Archived Records tab and locate the record that has the file attached.
Locate the attachment you want to preview under the Notes & Attachments section.
Click on the attachment hyperlink under the
Idcolumn.
The file will automatically open in a new browser tab. Once it finishes loading, you’ll be able to view the preview.
Please note that the loading times for the tab to open will depend on the size of the attachment as we need to pull it from the archive.
