Gearset

Upon completing your first comparison with Gearset you'll be asked for permission to show notifications. If permission is granted, Gearset will notify you when a comparison or validation has finished when the browser is minimized or a different tab is currently selected.

If you initially choose to deny notification permission but later decide that you want the feature enabled (or vice versa), you will need to edit the permission settings in your browser.&nbsp;

At the top right, click the triple dot symbol and then <code>Settings</code>.

On the left-hand side, under <code>Privacy and security</code>, click <code>Site settings</code>.

Add what Gearset will appear as in the list to be consistent with other steps. Gearset should be listed as <a href="https://app.gearset.com:443%E2%80%9D" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.gearset.com:443</a>.

3. Click <code>Notifications</code>.
4. Add what Gearset will appear as in the list to be consistent with other steps. Gearset should be listed as <a href="https://app.gearset.com:443%E2%80%9D" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.gearset.com:443</a>.

At the top right, click the menu button and then <code>Options</code>.

Select the <code>Privacy &amp; Security</code> panel and go down to the <code>Permissions</code> section.

Click the <code>Settings…</code> button next to <code>Notifications</code>.

Here you can choose to <code>Allow</code> or <code>Block</code> notifications for each site. Gearset should be listed as <a href="https://app.gearset.com%E2%80%9D" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.gearset.com</a>.

Under <code>Advanced settings</code>, click <code>View advanced settings</code>.
