How to remove a Developer Sandbox from your Pipeline

A step-by-step guide on how to remove a developer sandbox environment from your Pipeline in Gearset.

Written by Kevin Slattery

Need to remove a developer sandbox from your Pipeline? This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Before you begin: Removing a developer sandbox from your Pipeline will not delete the sandbox itself or remove it from your Gearset org connections. It will only detach it from the Pipeline view.

1: Navigate to your Pipeline

Head to the Pipeline that contains the Developer sandbox you'd like to remove. You can use this link to go straight there. (If your team has multiple pipelines, you may need to change to the correct one)

2: Hit the Edit environments button

Note: If you don't this option, check that you have the appropriate permissions for this Pipeline.

3: Use the trash icon on the Developer Sandbox to remove it

4 - Save the changes

Note: This action cannot be undone. If you need the sandbox back in the Pipeline later, you can re-add it by following the steps in How to add a Developer Sandbox to your Pipeline.
