Looking to add a developer sandbox to your pipeline? This guide will take you through the process step by step.

1: Confirm your sandbox

If you already have the sandbox you'd like to use connected to your account, you're all set for the first step -- if not, follow the guidance outlined here to add the org connection for the developer sandbox you're looking to add to the pipeline.

2: Navigate to your pipeline

Now that the org is added, head to the pipeline you'd like to add the developer sandbox to. You can use this link to head straight there.

3: Add your sandbox

Once you're there, click the +Add button in the top right, then select Add developer sandbox:

Note: If you already have a few developer sandboxes added that you'd like to form a group with, you can do so from this same dropdown menu via the Create developer sandbox group option.

4: Configure your sandbox

Now you'll be able to configure the sandbox you're adding:

Give the environment a name, then select it from the dropdown menu. From there, you can assign the sandbox to yourself, or another member on your team. You'll also be able to connect it to one of the static environments in your pipeline (if left unassigned, you can always connect it manually).

5: Save and start adding features!

Once you click Save, you'll see your newly added sandbox in the pipeline:

Now you're all set and ready to create branches to promote through the pipeline! If you have any questions or feedback to share, our in-app chat is the fastest way to get live support from our team.
