When troubleshooting issues in Gearset, it helps to replicate the behaviour using another tool that also uses the Salesforce Metadata API. This rules out Gearset as the cause and helps isolate whether the issue comes from Salesforce itself. You can replicate issues using either Workbench or Salesforce CLI. Both use the same underlying API.
