What metadata types to include in the filter?
To deploy these changes you'd normally need to include in your filter Custom object
and Custom object translation
metadata types. Or alternatively, you can use our Default comparison metadata filter.
Example of a change retrieved in 'Compare and deploy'
Using below example, in this Salesforce org I've made a change under Field Label Override
on a Description
Custom field (this field belongs to a Trail Tracker
installed package; retrieved as trailheadapp__
namespace).
Because the change I'm looking to deploy is a part of a managed package, I've made sure to configure my metadata filter to include the retrieval of managed packages (= Include managed packages
option is set to All
).
