When using in-place masking, Gearset fetches some data classification information from Salesforce to decide which fields to auto-select for masking, by default.
You can adjust the selection at any time.
Fields are selected by default if they have either of the following:
Data Sensitivity Level set to
Internal,Confidential,Restricted, orMissionCriticalAny Compliance Categorization selected (
CCPA,COPPA,GDPR,HIPAA,PCI,PII, orPersonalInfo)
These classifications are available in Salesforce's Setup pages, when editing a field.
And when you start in-place masking in Gearset, we automatically select the flagged fields on the field-selection screen.
