When using in-place masking, Gearset fetches some data classification information from Salesforce to decide which fields to select for masking, by default. You are free to customise the selection.
Those selected by default are fields that either have of the following.
Data Sensitivity Level set to
Internal,Confidential,Restricted, orMissionCriticalAny Compliance Categorization selected (
CCPA,COPPA,GDPR,HIPAA,PCI,PII, orPersonalInfo)
These classifications are available in Salesforce's Setup pages, when editing a field.
And when you start in-place masking in Gearset, the fields flagged in Salesforce are automatically selected on the field-selection screen.
