Code Reviews links each finding to your issue tracker, so you can raise an issue for it in one click. Use it to prioritize fixes, track related work, and assign tasks to your team.

Which issue trackers does Code Reviews support?
Code Reviews supports Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Asana.
How do I connect an issue tracker to my repository?
Open your repository in Code Reviews.
Go to Settings > Issue tracker.
Select your issue tracker from the dropdown next to the URL field.
Check the endpoint URL. For Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab, Code Reviews fills it in from your repository address. You only need to change it if your issues live somewhere else. For Jira, enter the URL yourself, using the format below. Asana doesn't need a URL.
Click Apply.
How do I open an issue from a finding?
Open a finding in Code Reviews.
Click Open An Issue.
Your issue tracker opens its new-issue page in a new tab, with the title and description filled in from the finding. The description includes a link back to the finding in Code Reviews. Check the details, add anything else you need, and submit the issue in your tracker.
Endpoint formats
Azure DevOps
https://dev.azure.com/{organization}/{project}/_workitems/create/{work_item_type}For example:
https://dev.azure.com/spaceheroes/sfdx-demo/_workitems/create/Issue
Code Reviews uses Issue by default. You can use any other work item type, such as Bug or Task, but it must exist in your project's process. If it doesn't, the page won't load.
GitHub
https://github.com/{owner}/{repository}/issues/newFor example:
https://github.com/MultiverseCorp/sfdx-devsecops-demo/issues/new
GitLab
https://{gitlab_host}/{group}/{project}/-/issues/newFor example:
https://gitlab.com/spaceheroes/sfdx-demo/-/issues/new
Make sure to include /-/ before issues/new.
Jira
https://{jira_hostname}/secure/CreateIssueDetails!init.jspa?pid={project_id}&issuetype={issue_type}For example:
https://spaceheroes.atlassian.net/secure/CreateIssueDetails!init.jspa?pid=10000&issuetype=10004
To fill in more fields, add extra query parameters to the end of the URL, such as &components=10100. To find your project and issue type IDs, see Atlassian's guide to creating issues using direct HTML links.
If your endpoint doesn't open the new-issue page, send a message to our support team, who will be happy to help.
