Once your trial expires, you'll need to move onto one of our paid subscriptions to continue using Gearset for your release management.

To do this you should head to https://gearset.com/pricing where you can then generate a quote.

Generating a quote

On the pricing page, enter the quantity of each license required; the monthly total will then be automatically calculated,

Next you have the option to add Data Loader or Data Compliance to your Pro or Enterprise license.

Selecting either Data Loader or Data Compliance will add this subscription to each of the Gearset licenses that you are purchasing. The total of the quote will be automatically updated.

Gearset also offers a data backup service. To add data backup to your quote, enter the amount of Standard Salesforce users in your organization; this will then add the monthly total of this service to your quote.

Once you have tailored the quote to your requirements, enter the email address where this quote should be sent and click "Send me this quote".

Turning your quote into an invoice

Once the quote has been sent, you should receive an email with the quote attached as a PDF.

In the body of the email you then have the option to "Turn my quote into an invoice" This will generate an email which will be sent to [email protected]. A member of our sales team will then be in touch to finalise your purchase.

For invoices, we can accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit card

  • PayPal

  • Wire transfer

  • Check (US only)

Your licenses will be activated once payment has been received.

Assigning licenses to your team members

If you purchased more than one license, and you are the team owner, you can now assign them to your other team members through the Account summary page.

Simply select the license type from the drop-down for a team member, and it will be assigned to their account.

Teams can have a mix of users on the Pro and Enterprise tier. If your account has multiple subscriptions, simply select the license type from the drop-down for each team member.
